The Kesho Board had a very special farewell at the Kilifi Mnarani Club for Tahreni Bwanaali (third from right) who will be leaving the Board after 3 years. We’re happy she will remain with Kesho as an Advisor and we will be supporting her in her retirement in building her own education charity in Lamu, following Kesho’s model.
Tahreni has considerable experience and expertise in HR, Organisational Structures and Governance and we have all learned a great deal from her during her time with us on the Board. Her wisdom and calm, respectful nature is something we all aspire to.
Thank you Tahreni for your enormous contribution, particularly in helping to prepare, guide and strengthen Kesho through it’s successful transition of leadership last year. You’ve been an amazing role model to us all and we look forward to working with you in the future.
